4K Full HD Projector with WiFi and Bluetooth

Projector with true 1920 × 1080 resolution, 8,000 lumens and 10,000:1 contrast – with WiFi mirroring, Bluetooth 5.0 and a built-in hi-fi speaker. For home cinema indoors and film nights in the garden.

Real 1080p, not “1080p support”

Many cheap projectors advertise “1080p support” but only resolve 720p. This one is native 1920 × 1080. Together with the LED lamp and the improved LCD it delivers around 30% more brightness than comparable models. 4K material plays back and is output at 1080p.

Screen mirroring over WiFi

iOS devices mirror without an adapter or dongle. On Android it works with models that support Miracast.

Option 1 – connect directly to the projector: select “Screen Mirroring” in the projector menu, then pick the “VIDOKA-XXXXXX” network on your device and start mirroring. Your device is off your home network while doing this.

Option 2 – both on the same home network: connect the projector to your router under “Settings → WiFi”, put your device on the same network, then start mirroring. This keeps your device online.

Important notes on mirroring

• Devices without Miracast (such as Google, Motorola, Sony) cannot mirror wirelessly – it works via the original cable. Connect the device with the sync cable to the USB port marked “USB1” and allow video output in the developer options.
• Because of HDCP copy protection, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu cannot be mirrored wirelessly. Via a Fire TV Stick on the HDMI port it works.
• WiFi speed should exceed 50 Mbps. Stability depends on distance.

Sound

Built-in 3 W hi-fi speaker with five sound modes: movie, music, sport, standard and a custom setting.

Dolby is not supported for licensing reasons. If you watch via a Fire Stick, disable Dolby surround there – otherwise there will be no sound.

Bluetooth 5.0

Headphones, speakers or a soundbar can be paired: put the Bluetooth device into pairing mode, switch on Bluetooth under “Settings → Sound” on the projector and select the device.

Bluetooth only sends audio out – the projector cannot be used as a Bluetooth speaker, and mirroring does not run over Bluetooth but over WiFi or cable.

Connections

HDMI, VGA, 2 × USB, AV and a 3.5 mm jack. That covers TV box, Fire TV Stick, Chromecast, PC, laptop, tablet, external speakers, Xbox, PS4, DVD player, card reader and USB stick.

Cooling and contents

The dual-fan system regulates temperature continuously, reduces power draw and extends lamp life. In the box: carrying bag, remote control, HDMI cable, AV cable, power cable and lens cover. Two AAA batteries for the remote are not included.
